Terms of Use
By using IronLog you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Exercise is at your own risk
IronLog, its exercise guides, generated plans, AI coach notes and nutrition targets are general information. They are not medical advice and don't replace a doctor, physiotherapist or qualified trainer.
- Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise or nutrition programme, especially if you are pregnant, injured, or have a medical condition.
- Stop if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath.
- Use a spotter and safe equipment, and choose weights you can control.
- Suggestions to add weight or reps are automatic and can be wrong for you. Use your own judgement.
Your account
- You must be at least 13, and old enough where you live to agree to these terms. A parent or guardian must agree for you if you aren't.
- Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from your Profile.
Gyms and trainers
- If you join a gym, its owner and your assigned trainer can see the information described in the Privacy Policy. Programmes and advice from a gym or trainer are their responsibility, not IronLog's.
- Gym owners and trainers must have their clients' permission before inviting them. They may use client information only to coach those clients, and must not share it outside the gym.
- Password reset codes let staff help a locked-out member. Only issue one after confirming it's really that person asking, give it only to them, and never use one to get into someone else's account.
Acceptable use
Don't use IronLog to:
- break the law or harass anyone
- post offensive content in names, notes or shared workouts
- get into other people's accounts
- overload or probe the service, or scrape it
- resell the service without our permission
We may suspend accounts that do.
Filming in the gym
- Record yourself, not other people. Don't upload a video of someone who hasn't agreed to it.
- Follow your gym's rules about filming. Many gyms restrict or ban it.
- Don't upload anything unlawful, explicit or abusive. We can remove clips and suspend accounts that break this, and clips may be reviewed if they're reported.
Your content
What you log is yours. You give us permission to store, process and display it only to run the app for you, and for the people you choose to share it with.
Gym subscriptions
- A gym costs $49 a month (plus any applicable tax), billed in advance by Stripe. Each new gym gets a 14-day free trial with no card required.
- Subscribing during the trial keeps the remaining trial days; the first charge happens when the trial ends.
- Cancel any time from Settings โ Billing. The gym stays active until the end of the period you've paid for; we don't refund partial months.
- If a payment fails, the gym keeps working for 7 days while the card is retried. After that, or once a trial or subscription ends, the dashboard becomes read-only: nothing is deleted, members keep their own data and the free app, and restarting the subscription restores everything.
- The AI coach is included for members of an active gym and has fair-use daily limits. If we change the price, we'll tell gym owners at least 30 days before it applies to them.
The service
IronLog is provided "as is". We work to keep it running and your data safe, but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Export your data regularly. We may change or discontinue features. If we shut the service down, we'll give reasonable notice so you can export your data.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, IronLog is not liable for injury, loss of data, or indirect or consequential losses from using the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app. Continuing to use IronLog after a change means you accept it.
